SHOCKED!!!! MY GOD!!! You should be more shocked on what's going on in the world today than what James Blish wrote in this book. He spread the word on paper about Star Trek and I thank James Blish for all his talent and persistence. So what if Uhura let out a FAT AFRICAN LAUGH???? It just gets me how people are still living in their closet. OH MY, I'M SO OFFENDED!!! Read and enjoy. Great book.. Racism, sexism, get off it already. This was a good book. SHOCKED!!!! MY GOD!!!

Blish even has a paragraph long description of why white women are attracted to Spock (it's a stepping stone towards sex with other races which women find scary but also tititlating).
